For those iPad 2 users who haven’t updated their device with Apple’s latest firmware update, there are several impressive jailbreak-only apps and tweaks that you might want to check out. iOS 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 negate the jailbreak performed by Comex’s popular JailbreakMe 3.0, the first tool to bypass the computer tablet’s security system.

In an article posted on Jaxov a couple of weeks ago, writer Patrick lists his favorite iPad 2 jailbreak apps. On the list are SBSettings, PDF Patcher 2, iFile, RetinaPad, Infinifolders, PkgBackup, LockInfo, GridLock, PhoneItiPad, Winterboard and Dreamboard.

Of the free SBSettings, the writer says it’s “definitely one of the darlings of the jailbreak community, and for good reason. SBSettings provides a way for you to access your most frequently used settings instead of digging your way deep into the iOS Settings just to adjust your brightness or turn the WiFi on. Just assign an Activator gesture so you can access this wonderful app quickly.”
