The Rumors Continue as September Gets Closer
Man, but the media just seems to be all about rumors when it comes to the iPhone, doesn’t it? Of course, we say this as we report about these rumors. So much for integrity.
Bloomberg has decided to enter the iPhone rumors race. It seems to be coming out in contradiction to BGR’s rumors about a possible release in August. Additionally, the newspaper is indicating that we will not be seeing a radical redesign of the iPhone 4. Instead, iPhone 5 looks like it will be getting more of a hardware boost than anything.
Apple Inc. (AAPL) plans to introduce a new iPhone in September that boasts a stronger chip for processing data and a more advanced camera, according to two people familiar with the plans.
Amongst the various upgrades, fans can expect to see the A5 processor chip being used, as well as a new camera. Naturally, it will be shipping with iOS 5… but it looks like there won’t be a significant change in hardware from the iPhone 4.
Also, rumors of the iPad 3 continue, with the current rumor being of a device with a higher resolution.
Apple is also testing a new version of the iPad that has a higher resolution screen, similar to the one now used in the iPhone 4, one of the people said.
So many rumors. We’ll steer you through, though, so don’t worry.
